Since their arrival in Cleveland in 1874 to serve German Catholic immigrants, the Sisters of Notre Dame have given their time, skills, and compassion to the people of Northern Ohio and beyond. They have brought God’s goodness and care to people in parishes and hospitals, prisons, and the streets as they walk with people who are in need.
Author Eileen Quinlan S.N.D., a native of Greater Cleveland, has been a Sister of Notre Dame since 1973. Meet her at Willoughby Library, and learn all about the fascinating history of the Sisters of Notre Dame!
